Dongfeng continued to break records for the first half of the year with sales of more than 10 billion RMB.

Through June, Dongfeng sold 37,600 machines, an increase of 25% over the same period in 2010. More than 4,000 machines were sold in overseas markets, an 81% increase over 2010.

For the month of June alone, 1016 machines were sold to the overseas markets, setting another record for the highest number of export machines sold in a single month.

Other markets are breaking records for year-on-year sales increase, though the unit sales are smaller. The Middle East saw a 70% increase in sales, South Africa had a 158% rise, Russia had a 327% increase, and North America had a 193% increase.
 
According to AEM statistics reported at the end of May 2011, the global market share of Dongfeng wheel loaders is around 15.5%, an increase of 0.5%. Dongfeng D-series excavators have won strong acceptance in overseas markets, accounting for 85% of all Dongfeng excavator exports.
