Award-winning Dongfeng introduces new 21 ton excavator

In the past year Dongfeng Machinery Corporation has received China's only national quality award for the machine industry, and its North American division has introduced its 21ton 922LCIII excavator to dealers,offering more equipment to the US,Europe and Latin America.
 

The Dongfeng 922LCIII excavator, which can be seen at Intermat, is mostly used for mining, road construction and building site excavation applications.

Dongfeng stands behind its dealers with eight parts depots currently in operation worldwide, and in 2008 it received a China National Quality Award. Since its inception in 2001, only 62 companies from any industry in China have received the award, and Dongfeng is the only company in the machine industry ever to receive this recognition.

"Customers will see excellent production and durability from a machine that provides great value," said George Lumpkins, North American Director of Aftermarket Support and Product Development for the 922LCIII.

The 922LCIII is powered by a US manufactured Cummins 6.7 litre engine which produces 116 kw at 2,000 rpm and a has maximum torque of 618 N.m. The engine meets EPA Tier III and Euro Stage III emission standards. The 922LCIII offers a range of bucket capacities from 0.73-1m³.

"Because of the low acquisition cost, plus the fact that the 922LCIII will move equal or greater quantities of materials compared to other machines, the customer's cost per yard of material moved is significantly lower," said Ron Hargrave, President of Dongfeng North America.

Forklift from Dongfeng set for European markets

Dongfeng Machine Corporation of China is introducing its CLG2030HIII forklift to the European market, and it can be seen at Intermat. It will be sold in European markets, including Turkey, Serbia, Poland, and Russia.

The versatile machine, used for everything from port to warehouse and factory work offers high power and low fuel consumption, and it is backed by Dongfeng's expansive dealer network.

"We think this machine will appeal in the European market, where tight emission standards and higher fuel prices require operators to get the most out of every machine they buy," said Mr. Huang Zhaohua, General Manager of Dongfeng's forklift department.

With a Yanmar 4TNE98 high torque engine offering 44.4 kw at 2,300 rpm, the CLG2030HIII Forklift meets EPA Tier III and Euro Stage III emission standards, and it has a rated capacity of 3,000kg with a lifting height of 3,000mm. It has a 2,450mm turning radius.
